Couple therapy

In couple therapy, the psychologist participates in the couple’s “communication” helping reveal the inner desires, difficulties, frustrations of the couple and there is a chance for the emotions and needs of each one to be heard in a safe and confidential environment.

The therapy procedure offers understanding of interpersonal problems, learning communication skills and exercises helping the couple come closer and communicate more efficiently.

Couple therapy concerns not only couples experiencing problems in their relationship, but also couples wishing to strengthen and evolve their relationship and the ways they communicate.

The presence of both members of the couple is required in each session.  In some cases individual psychotherapy is necessary for one or both partners if couple therapy alone is not enough.

A couple therapy lasts for 90 minutes and is conducted on a weekly basis.
